URGENT ACTION ALERT: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon have ordered the Israeli military to continue preparing for a likely strike on Iran's nuclear facilities – the same facilities Barack Obama let Iran KEEP as part of the Obama-pushed "dirty deal" in which America got NOTHING and our ally Israel got BETRAYED.
Here at home Obama is seeking to ABOLISH our two most highly successful missile programs – the Tomahawk and Hellfire missiles – that have been absolutely KEY to our U.S. Navy maintaining military superiority worldwide.
Like say IN THE PERSIAN GULF, the STRAIT OF HORMUZ, and the GULF OF OMAN!
As reported by the Israeli newpaper Haaretz, at least 10 billion shekels ($2.89 billion) of the Israel Defense Force Budget will be allocated to preparing strikes on Iran.
"My friends, I believe that letting Iran enrich uranium would open up the floodgates," Netanyahu said at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee conference in Washington earlier this month. "That must not happen. And we will make sure it does not happen."
"We think the United States should be the one leading the campaign against Iran," Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon said in a recent speech at Tel Aviv University. "But the U.S. has entered talks with them and unfortunately, in the haggling in the Persian bazaar, the Iranians were better."
"Therefore on this matter we have to behave as though we have nobody to look out for us but ourselves."
And you know what, he's probably right – UNLESS CONGRESS ACTS NOW.
Congress should be beyond worried about current affairs.
Putin is running amok; Israel is readying to take on nuclear Iran ALONE and Obama is flitting about around the world peddling geopolitical fairytales for strategy.If Obama is not stopped – forced by Congress to restructure his policies – vital defense programs like our best missile systems will be COMPLETELY ELIMINATED BY 2016 with NO SUBSTITUTE SYSTEMS READY TO REPLACE THEM. The money "saved" will be diverted to developing a new missile in an effort that is estimated to take at least TEN YEARS.
Nearly 100 Tomahawk missiles alone are used EACH YEAR!
Eliminating these systems is a "strategy" that goes far beyond "leading from behind" – which has proved dangerous and ineffectual enough to imperil the free world. With the current destabilization of the Middle East, this is nothing less than delivering Israel to her enemies while waving the white flag of surrender over America's stature as a global superpower.
"It doesn't make sense," said Seth Cropsey, director of the Hudson Institute's Center for American Seapower. "This really moves the U.S. away from a position of influence and military dominance."
Cropsey said that if someone were trying to "reduce the U.S. ability to shape events" in the world, "they couldn't find a better way than depriving the U.S. fleet of Tomahawks. It's breathtaking."
Then again, Obama is doing a great job at diminishing our global influence even with Tomahawks and Hellfire missiles. Putin has gauged American weakness under this Obama administration and is moving to set up MILITARY BASES IN CUBA, VENEZUELA AND NICARAGUA even as he threatens the world he will expand and intensify relations with Iran!
Given the destructiveness of Obama's foreign and military policies, it is little wonder that Brigadier General Hossein Salami, Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps' air force commander, has been QUOTED by an Iranian news agency as saying that Iran is ready to PULL THE TRIGGER TO DESTROY ISRAEL…
"Today, we can destroy every spot which is under the Zionist regime's control with any volume of fire power (that we want) right from here,"Salami was quoted as telling a conference in Tehran on "The Islamic World's Role in the Geometry of World Power."
Have no illusions; these are Barack Obama's true negotiating partners in his "don't worry, the Ayatollahs don't want nuclear military arms, let's give Iran whatever it wants" deal – and they CANNOT stop bragging about how they intend to use it to annihilate Israel!
Salami continued: "Islam has given us this wish, capacity and power to destroy the Zionist regime so that our hands will remain on the trigger from 1,400 kilometers away for the day when such an incident (confrontation with Israel) takes place." Islam – or Obama? The Iranian "nuclear deal" so dear to Obama's heart IS an existential threat to Israel, poised to "destroy" the Jewish state…
And all that is holding Iran's military back, they say, is that they AWAIT THE ORDERS TO DO SO!
Times of Israel reminds us that these trigger threats came A DAY after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu presented to the press a shipment of Iranian arms on their way to terror groups in Gaza that were instead intercepted by Israeli forces at sea.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the weapons shipment was organized by Iran. "At a time when it is talking to the major powers, Iran smiles and says all sorts of nice things, the same Iran is sending deadly weapons to terrorist organizations and is doing so via a ramified network of secret operations in order to send rockets, missiles and other deadly weapons that will be used to harm innocent citizens," Netanyahu said in a statement.
Somehow, we cannot recall hearing ANY cries of condemnation coming from the Obama faction – not the State Dept., not Kerry, not even from U.N. Secretary Power…
Washington MUST hear from YOU. Congress CANNOT allow the Obama administration to abandon Israel to the Islamists, be they the Palestinian Authority or Iran!
Make no mistake, Iran operates in a nexus of terror with Hamas and the Palestinian Authority against Israel, largely via the terrorist front Hezbollah. Obama's betrayal of Israel is now naked and blunt. The United States' official position is that there is no need for the Palestinian Authority (PA) to recognize Israel as a Jewish state as part of a peace agreement, according to State Dept. spokeswoman Jen Psaki.
This is a despicable reversal of American policy and standing assurances protecting Israel's right to exist as a sovereign Jewish state. Congress MUST assert its powers and forcefully clarify the United States' reliability and honor as a geopolitical and moral ally in the never-ending war against evil.
Demand Congress enact a Joint Resolution AT ONCE standing with Israel and REBUKING Obama's treachery!
American and multi-lateral policy historically, U.N. Resolution 242, the Oslo and Camp David Accords ALL have affirmed the obligation of the intransigent Palestinians to forswear terrorism and acknowledge the legitimacy of the Jewish State of Israel, and for all nations to respect the prerogatives of Israel and Palestinian authorities to negotiate their own peace and border treaties. These solemn and binding agreements MUST prevail over Barack Obama's dangerous duplicity and pro-Palestinian proclivities.
U.S. long-standing assurances, support and previous binding resolutions that Israel shall negotiate her own borders with her Arab enemies, once they cease hostilities, must stand – unimpeded by Obama's rank betrayal – if America is to have any international credibility, is to merit any respect with decent humanity, and is to retain any favor with God for honoring His Word.

Simultaneously, Iran and other Muslim states continue their renewed campaign of defamation against Israel over alleged Palestinian lands. Any further compromise on unilateral Palestinian "statehood" or Israeli territorial boundaries imperils Israel and could result in the total annihilation of our greatest Middle Eastern ally. The 1967 "borders" Obama still is attempting to dictate to Israel are in fact the armistice lines of repeated Arab attacks against the Jewish state, are INDEFENSIBLE, AND NOT rightly the basis of any negotiation for permanent Israeli borders.
The State Department's Psaki, who spoke to the Palestinian Authority (PA)-based Arabic language Al-Quds newspaper, said, "The American position is clear, Israel is a Jewish state. However, we do not see a need that both sides recognize this position as part of the final agreement."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been adamant on the PA recognizing Israel as a Jewish state, explaining that the Arabs' refusal to recognize Israel's right to exist stands at the heart of the conflict.
The PA has already formally refused to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, stating that "the Arab states will never recognize a Jewish state." PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas reiterated this position on Friday, when he told young members of his Fatah movement that "there is no way" he would recognize Israel.
Psaki's comments came ahead of a trip by Abbas to Washington on March 17, where he met Obama as part of the U.S. push to achieve a peace agreement between the sides. Obama's Secretary of State John Kerry, who is on a relentless personal mission to force a peace agreement, has reportedly finished a working draft of his framework that he hopes will allow him to continue the talks past an April deadline already set.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in Washington earlier in March with Barack Obama. Topics on the agenda for the Netanyahu-Obama talk were Iran and the current round of Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations. And now Palestinian Authority leader President Mahmoud Abbas, the 78-year-old former top aide to Yasser Arafat, traveled to be embraced and praised as "a peacemaker" by Obama.
Along with his meeting at the White House, Netanyahu also made an address at the annual AIPAC Policy Conference.
The meeting with Obama was fraught with peril… but Netanyahu navigated these dangerous waters well. As noted analyst Caroline Glick observed, Netanyahu so far has been "waiting Obama out." Avoiding open confrontation with Obama, in his speech at the AIPAC conference on Tuesday, Netanyahu rebutted every Obama position on the Palestinians and Iran without ever even mentioning Obama's name. Netanyahu energized Israel's supporters while denying Obama any claim that Israel is being uncooperative.
But humoring the White House while staking out an independent and effective Israeli security policy can only go so far if the American Congress fails to step up and have Israel's back. Israel's security is endangered if it stands alone. Congress must safeguard its interests at a time when the U.S. president publicly trashes and threatens those interests and privately undermines them. Israel already took its most important step in this regard when voters reelected Netanyahu to lead their government last year – America fell far short in executive choice for the challenges of these times.
Pray, and exhort the Congress to step forward boldly in support of our ally Israel! Demand Congress enact a Joint Resolution standing with Israel and REBUKING Obama’s treachery!
Netanyahu is presently focused on establishing policy for two key issues – the fate of the U.S.-led peace process in light of an April 29 deadline for a mutually agreed "initial framework," and nuclear talks between world powers and Iran.
Although Netanyahu wants Obama to deal fairly with Israel about the Palestinians and Iran, the White House is pushing a different agenda. Obama is all-in for the Palestinians, and with the State Dept.'s latest statement clearly now the gloves are off seeking to subjugate Israel AT VIRTUALLY ANY COST to Palestinian demands…
"Obama will press him to agree to a framework for a conclusive round of Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations that is being drafted by Secretary of State John Kerry," the New York Times said, quoting senior U.S. officials. This means unremitting pressure will be brought worldwide to betray decades of U.S. and multi-lateral guarantees of autonomy, sovereignty and territorial integrity to the Jewish state – treachery of the first degree.
The crucial date before the April 29th deadline where the two parties could sign "an initial framework agreement," that would "specify the borders, percentage of land swaps, security arrangements, Jerusalem status, refugees," and other core issues is March 28th – ONLY HOURS AWAY.
On that date, a document concerning the further release of terrorists from Israeli jails has to be presented to Netanyahu's cabinet for approval. Without this document, the peace deal cannot go forward. Please pray this document is blocked and the cabinet cannot vote, which will halt 'progress' of the Kerry-Obama peace talks, so clearly NOT in Israel's interest.
"Rather than seek to weaken Israel by coercing it to recede to indefensible borders in order to make room for a Palestinian terrorist state in its historic heartland, the US should abandon its support for Palestinian terrorists and ensure that Israel has the power to defend itself in a region marked by unprecedented instability and danger," notes strategic analyst Caroline Glick.

Please pray for Netanyahu – for his protection and that he will be able to continue to withstand the enormous pressure that will exerted upon him by the Obama administration. We who love Israel must stand firm until the destruction passes us by. One of the chief instruments of this White House is intimidation and threats. Together with mobilizing counterweight on Obama from Congress, we need the Lord to intervene. This is a crucial time of testing. Pray Netanyahu will not collapse under the weight of this pressure as did Rabin and Sharon. Please pray protection against lies from the Leftist media in Israel, as well as the United States. Pray as well that the document necessary to freeing further terrorists from Israeli jails that must go before the Israeli cabinet will not be forthcoming, and the cabinet vote will not be scheduled. Its absence will block these destructive talks from going further – and we should pray that every stage that this process may be halted by the Arm of the Lord. All observers in Israel admit that enormous pressure is being exerted from the U.S. government to unjustly free these Arab terrorists from incarceration, the worst offenders in a four-phase deal, in political appeasement of the Palestinian Authority. And BLAST Congress to act boldly to protect Israel's ability to defend herself, and the West! |
We need to advocate strongly on behalf of Israel and demand Obama BACK OFF pressuring Netanyahu to make dangerous concessions to the Palestinians, and support Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) in her fight for TRANSPARENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY from the Obama administration regarding its "deal" with Iran. That agreement so far has served only to embolden our enemy with increased arrogance and new determination to go NUCLEAR.
WE MUST DEMAND S. 1881 FOR A NUCLEAR WEAPON FREE IRAN!
"In order for Congress to properly perform its oversight functions and for the American people and our allies to have a full and open debate on this issue, I respectfully request that you make public the full text of the Joint Plan of Action," Ros-Lehtinen wrote in a Feb. 12 letter to Obama.
As we all know too well, Barack Obama will NEVER release this text unless the full attention of the American people – and even the Obama faction's typically lapdog media – unite in properly DEMANDING IT.
We must stand with Rep. Ros-Lehtinen AND Israel to rally BOTH SIDES of Capitol Hill, and force this text out of the White House. Without its proper review, we risk being totally steamrolled by the Iranian regime, as it takes advantage of the Kerry-Obama destruction of our once sound foreign policy!
"The Islamic regime will never abide by the politics of America or any other country and has paid the price (through prior sanctions) to stick with its own policies," Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the Iranian parliament's chairman of its foreign policy and national security committee said in a meeting with Brazilian Senator Valdir Raupp.

MEANWHILE, instead of sanctioning and boycotting increasingly hostile, belligerent Iran, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has been threatening ISRAEL if it refuses to cede to Palestinian Authority radicals.
THIS ADMINISTRATION IS IGNORANTLY, OR PERHAPS INTENTIONALLY, PLAYING WITH FIRE.
Congress must ACT and refuse anything less than Obama's binding commitment to genuinely oppose our true enemies in the Middle East – that means increased sanctions against Iran and real defense of our ally Israel!
Kerry thought his veiled threats of harm facing an incompliant Eretz Israel, blamed on others but clearly being incited by the Obama left, wouldn't be directly and forcefully answered and condemned by the blunt-talking Sabras of Israel – but he was WRONG.
Kerry isn't even limiting his anti-Israel threats to U.S. boycotts. Oh no, his morally corrupt posturing threatens to pave the way for global boycotts and yet another worldwide leftwing campaign for the de-legitimization of the Jewish state – OUR STRONGEST, MOST STEADFAST ALLY IN THE REGION!
In effect, Kerry is already orchestrating the European boycotts against Israel should the nation refuse to kowtow to Islamists. Kerry's plan even requires Israel to withdrawal along the 1949 Armistice lines BECAUSE HE SAYS SO.
This would cut the width of Israel down to 7 miles at its WIDEST POINT while paving the way for another Hamas takeover like we witnessed with the 2005 "Disengagement" plan that expelled Jews from Gaza.
"Friends don't put ultimatums on the security of the state of Israel," said Israel Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon, responding to Kerry's inappropriate aggression and obvious animosity towards Israel.
Friends also don't stay silent. That includes Jewish American Congressional Democrats Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Ted Deutch and Lois Frankel who have yet to condemn the Obama administration's latest show of dangerous and damaging brinksmanship against the State of Israel!
On Jan. 24 chief commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Maj. Gen. Mohammad Jafari, addressed Secretary of State John Kerry, saying that a direct conflict with America is the "strongest dream of the faithful and revolutionary men around the world."
"Your threats to revolutionary Islam are the best opportunity," Jafari said. "Muslim leaders for years have been preparing us for a decisive battle.… Do you know how many thousands of revolutionary Muslims at the heart of the Islamic revolutionary groups around the world are awaiting for you to take this [military] option from the table into action?"
With Obama's six month Iran nuclear deal DANGEROUSLY EMBOLDENING the out-of-control Iranian Ayatollahs – and the world reportedly only weeks away from a fully nuclear-armed Iran – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is STILL BLOCKING a vote on a vital bipartisan sanctions bill.
DEMAND a vote on S. 1881 Nuclear Weapon Free Iran Act of 2013, supported by more than 58 Senators, including 15 Democrats!
Remember, as foreign affairs expert Caroline Glick has noted, Obama is:
- The first U.S. president ever to denounce Jewish property rights in Jerusalem
- The first U.S. president ever to require Israel to deny Jews property rights in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria as a precondition for peace talks with the Palestinians
- The first U.S. president ever to adopt the position that Israel must surrender its right to defensible borders in the framework of a peace treaty
- The first U.S. president ever to make Israeli acceptance of this position to surrender its right to defensible borders a precondition for negotiations
- The first U.S. president ever to accept Hamas as a legitimate actor in Palestinian politics
- The first U.S. president ever to make American support for Israel at the UN conditional on Israeli concessions to the Palestinians
Another reason Israel is imperiled is because the U.S. government under Obama, through security leaks and other breaches, has maliciously crippled Israel's covert operations against Iran's nuclear program – leaving few options other than military strikes against Iran's reactors and nuclear facilities.
Pro-Israel Republicans and Democrats in the House and the Senate MUST unite in defense of the Jewish state!
Whatever the global politics of this Iranian "deal" may finally prove to be, one cold, hard fact of American politics MUST be confronted. In February 2010, 48 percent of Democrats supported Israel and 70 percent of Republicans did. Those figures have only worsened since.
Obama is destroying his old party, destroying America's proud and noble consensus in support of Israel, leading our country to ruin, and imperiling the only democracy in the Middle East as he pursues policies that bring the region closer and closer to catastrophic, perhaps even nuclear war.
There is a liberal majority of the Democrat party that no longer stands foursquare with Israel – and under the "leadership" of Obama, the betrayal of Israel is becoming party policy.
IT MUST NOT BECOME AMERICA'S POLICY.
CONGRESS MUST NOT DISHONOR OUR NATION BY BESMIRCHING OUR RIGHTFUL HISTORY OF SUPPORT FOR THE JEWISH STATE.
